OUR ROOTS

IGF Marmi was founded in 1987 but its origins date back to 1899 to an important company in Carrara Ing. Giulio Faggioni. The bond with the marble and especially with their own quarries have made the continuation of the production chain possible. From the late 1900s till today, the Sacchelli family’s new generations have invested great entrepreneurship and have strengthened the importance of the production process : extraction, processing and sale of the finished product. The most prestigious marble of Carrara is extracted from their own quarry – the whites par excellence renowned throughout the world for their quality and purity. Statuario, Calacatta, Statuarietto, Venatino, Arabescato Corchia and Paonazzo.

THE SACCHELLI FAMILY:
Today, Giacomo Sacchelli continues production and extraction in full respect of the environment taking over from his father Paolo Sacchelli who started in 1977. For the Sacchelli family, respect for the territory and for the workforce they employ are important objectives, and are a symbol of safety and respect.
